Revamped Six-Cylinder Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé Models: What's New?

Introducing a Redesigned Front Apron and Enhanced Standard Features

Mercedes-AMG has updated its six-cylinder models of the AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, boasting a new front apron that echoes the design of the previous eight-cylinder models. With a jet-wing profile created by the two outer decorative air intakes and the large central air intake below the radiator grille, the updated design exudes a sense of breadth. The radiator openings have also been modified to direct airflows specifically to functional elements such as coolers and brakes.

Now standard on these models are the electric sliding sunroof and wireless smartphone charging capabilities for rear-seat passengers. The digital infotainment system, MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience), has received a facelift with a fresh look, revamped AMG-specific displays, and customizable functions. Moreover, when paired with the optional Burmester® surround sound system or Burmester® high-end 3D surround sound system, Dolby Atmos delivers an immersive audio experience.

The 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with twin-turbocharging and an integrated starter alternator remains unchanged, providing 270 kW (367 hp) or 320 kW (435 hp) for an exhilarating driving experience.

The optional V8 Styling Package allows for further customization of the six-cylinder models. It features a new front apron, longitudinal member panels, and a rear apron with a diffuser. The unique front end of the V8 Styling Package incorporates elements of the AMG GT Black Series, including a radiator grille extending further downwards, a broad lower air intake, and precise, functional air deflection components on the outer edges. This design accentuates the AMG GT family's connection to its racing heritage.

Additional options are available for other equipment packages. For example, the Chrome Package now includes a high-gloss chrome front splitter, while the Carbon Fiber Package adds a carbon fiber front splitter. When the Aerodynamic Package is combined with the V8 Styling Package, the front splitter, and flics adopt a new shape.

Opalite white metallic is now an available color choice, while the wheel portfolio and upholstery range remain consistent.
